GTA 5 Online UPDATE following new GTA 6 and PS5 release date rumours

Fans of GTA 5 Online have a new set of bonuses to enjoy following today’s PS4, Xbox One and PC update.

Rockstar Games regularly provides ways to boost your in-game bank account, especially before a new expansion is released.

It looks to be a little early to hope for a new content drop, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t new ways to save your cash for it.

The new Missile Base Series launches this week in GTA Online, bringing a host of modes to the location made famous by the Doomsday Heist.

More importantly, there is also a $250K bonus for all CEOs who own Executive Offices, as well as Double Rewards on Smuggler’s Sell Missions, Juggernaut and Rhino Hunt.

Another great way to build up your in-game cash reserves is by using the Special Cargo Crates, which are 25% off this week.

“This week sees the launch of the Missile Base Series, featuring intense competitive skirmishes set inside the bowels of Mt. Chiliad,” a message from Rockstar Games explains.

“If you’re more of a white-collar criminal, CEOs who own Executive Offices will also receive a big bonus for playing, while all Smuggler’s Sell Missions, Juggernaut and Rhino Hunt modes are paying out Double Rewards through May 29th.

“Return to the scene of The Doomsday Scenario in nine classic modes set inside the Missile Silo, including Resurrection, Slasher, Every Bullet Counts and more. All modes inside the Missile Base dish out Double Rewards, as well.

“Simply set a course for the nearest Bunker Series icon on the map to jump into a rolling playlist deep in the guts of Mt. Chiliad.”

Gamers looking forward to GTA 6 may have a better idea of when Rockstar Games could launch the eagerly anticipated game.

Recent rumours suggest that the next Grand Theft Auto game will be a timed exclusive on the PS5.

These kinds of deals do exist but it would seem a very expensive venture for Sony to pull off for their new console.

All reports need to be taken with a big pinch of salt at this point, but there is plenty to suggest that the next GTA game is being planned for release on the PS5 and Xbox Two.

And Respected Sony analyst Hideki Yasuda from Ace Research Institute has given his prediction for when the PS5 will be hitting shelves.

Yasuda-san predicts the PS5 will have a release date in November 2020 and cost $500 (£393).

The analyst has built a name for himself in Japan due to his on-the-nose predictions about the gaming market.

And a late 2020 release date for the PS5 does chime in with comments Sony have made about the successor to the PS4.

So this could be the first reasonable date to expect GTA 6 to be released, although there is no guarantee that Rockstar won’t wait later.
