Melania Trump married her husband, Donald Trump, on 22 January 2005 in a ceremony seven years after they first met. Since getting married, Melania and Donald have had one son together, Barron Trump, 13. The Slovenian former model also became the step-mum of Donald’s other children, Donald Trump Jr, 41, Ivanka Trump, 37, Eric Trump, 35, and Tiffany Trump, 25. She is notably younger than her husband and her age may not be too far off that of her step children.

The large age gap means Melania is only eight-years older than her eldest step-son, Donald Trump Jr.
Melania is also only 12-years older than her step-daughter, Ivanka Trump.
As well as being close in age with her extended family, the First Lady has a big age gap with her husband.
Donald Trump was born on 14 June 1946 and is 72-years-old, meaning there is a 24-year age gap between them.
The couple met in a nightclub when Melania was 28-years-old and Donald was 52-years-old.
They became engaged in 2004 and married in a lavish ceremony at Donald’s Mar-a-Lago estate in 2005.
Melania and Donald will soon head to the UK for a state visit from 3 June to 5 June this year.
The couple will be guests of the Queen and are likely to spend their time with members of the British Royal Family.
It is likely that Melania will also spend time with Kate Middleton, 37, if the state visit follows the regular format.
They will mostly likely have a open-air welcome, lunch with the Queen and attend a state banquet.
Melania and Donald will be put up by the Queen and stay at Buckingham Palace or at Windsor castle.
Despite being the step-mum of Ivanka, Melania has only been married for four years longer.
Ivanka married Jared Kushner, 38, in 2009 after two years of dating.
