Coronation Street spoilers: Who killed Rana Habeeb? Will factory villain be revealed?

ITV soap Coronation Street is going to see some big secrets revealed next week as things reach a climax with the Underworld Factory collapse from March. The big reveal will be coming three months after the calamitous event claimed the life of nurse Rana Habeeb (played by Bhavna Limbachia). ITV has released details for the upcoming week of explosive episodes.

The five episodes will be kicking off from Monday, May 27 and will be airing on consecutive nights throughout the week following the Britain’s Got Talent live shows.

Along with the Underworld Factory saboteur’s identity being exposed, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) will discover the truth about her missing money, while Carla Connor (Alison King) will be continuing to struggle with her mental health.

Finally, host Lorraine Kelly will be appearing on the ITV soap as she encounters the Platt family while they embark on the holiday from hell.

Audrey’s missing money

The week will start with the Platt family going on holiday which has been financed by Audrey.

However, both Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) will be feeling the strain as the net starts to close in on them.

Nick and David will soon at each other’s throats over the money with one trying to get the other to take the fall.

When the truth comes out, the rest of the family are going to be devastated by the revelation.

The Platts & Lorraine Kelly

Before things can get too tense, matriarch Gail Platt (Helen Worth) will reveal her plans to track down her hero Lorraine Kelly.

Gail makes the confession after she spots the TV host at the holiday park where the family is staying.

The storyline will offer some comic relief from the more serious stories in the soap with the plot having some hilarious consequences.

Carla Connor’s mental health deteriorates further

In a hard-hitting episode, Carla will be struggling to cope as her mental health deteriorates further.

She only recently returned to the Cobbles after going missing for some time.

Since the factory collapse, Carla was sent spiralling into paranoia as she has a mental breakdown.

We will see have a severe psychotic episode in which she believes she’s talking to Rana and Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) as she stands on the Victoria Street fire escape.

The Underworld saboteur

As the week starts to draw to a close, Corrie fans will finally find out who sabotaged the roof of the factory.

One Weatherfield resident has been living with the guilt of the collapse and has blood on their hands.
