As one of the wealthiest families in the UK, the royals often wear designer clothes which don’t exactly come cheap. However while it’s perhaps more rare than the rest of the population, their royal status hasn’t stopped some members of the Royal Family turning to the High Street when picking out a new wardrobe. In fact, in the recent photographs of the Cambridge family, it seems that many of them opted for more budget-friendly garments. The snaps were taken when Kate Middleton, 37, and her husband Prince William, 36, took their children to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden titled “Back to Nature” – which was co-designed by Adam White and Andree Davies, as well as the Royal Horticultural Society.
Prince George
Prince George has often been seen dressed in shorts over the years, and this recent outing was no different.
The five-year-old wore a pair of navy shorts and a belt – however it’s not yet clear as to where they’re from.
The prince also wore a dusky green polo shirt, which was embellished with an embroidered turtle.
The shirt is from the high-street retailer H&M, and in particular, its LOGG line – standing for Label of Graded Goods.
While he shirt may not be available in the UK, it can be bought on the H&M Hungary website.
Down from 1995, it currently costs 1490 Forint, which works out at around £4.
The brand is aiming to make its fashion as sustainable as possible, with the goal of sourcing 100 per cent sustainable cotton by 2020.
By 2030, the H&M Group aims for 100 per cent recycled or other sustainably sourced materials.
Last year, H&M ranked at number four out of 150 brand and retailers on Fashion Revolution’s Fashion Transparency Index – which evaluates transparency and working conditions in the fashion industry.
Princess Charlotte
Princess Charlotte, four, wore a floral look for the trip to the garden.
It was a Rachel Riley design, namely the Ditsy Floral Button-Front style.
The dress, which has a Peter Pan collar and puff-sleeves costs £65.
Prince Louis
The young prince, who recently celebrated his first birthday, has only been seen a few times before.
It appears that the youngster is wearing the red and white striped Neck and Neck overalls that his brother Prince George wore a number of times back in 2014.
The 100 per cent cotton garment was said to have cost $50.99 at the time – which works out at around £40.
The royal is also thought to be wearing a Rachel Riley ivory and navy trim shirt, also previously belonging to Prince George.
Prince Louis also wore a blue cardigan, as well as dark navy socks and matching shoes.
Royal style spotters may be delighted to hear that Kate also opted for a high-street look.
Wearing a brand she has not worn before, the Duchess opted for a floral maxi dress which is from & Other Stories – which is also part of the H&M Group.
She also wore a pair of light brown suede wedges.
Finishing off her look, Kate wore a pair of earrings which cost just £8.
Meanwhile, Prince William dressed in a pair of brown trousers and matching shoes.
He also donned a pale blue shirt, which he styled with the sleeves rolled up.

How did Kate Middleton become a royal?
Early life
Kate Middleton, or Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was born on 9 January 1982 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, England.
She was born to Michael and Carole Middleton, a former flight dispatcher and air hostess. The couple founded a party supplies company, Party Pieces, in 1987 – now estimated to be worth £30 million.
Kate has a younger sister Pippa Matthews, 34, and a younger brother James Middleton, 31.
Education

Wedding
Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton with his late mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring in October 2010. The couple were holidaying in Kenya at the time.

Kate wore an Alexander McQueen dress worth a reported £250,000 on the big day.
