The Graham Norton Show viewers distracted by Gwendoline Christie’s 'amazing' laugh

The Game of Thrones actor was on the sofa for a chat with stand-in host Jack Whitehall who took over from Graham Norton for Friday’s show.

As is the nature of the BBC chat show, many laughs were had between the presenter and the guest line-up, which also included David Walliams, Luke Evans and Peter Crouch.

However, viewers thought Gwendoline’s chuckling was particularly stand-out.

Those watching at home were quick to notice Gwendoline’s unique giggling and took to Twitter to comment.

“@lovegwendoline has the most amazing laugh shame we never got to hear it much on #gameofthrones @TheGNShow with @jackwhitehall ps Jack was fab!” one exclaimed.

Another added: “Crouchie on Graham Norton, legend! but @lovegwendoline ! wow and what a great laugh!”

“Gwendoline Christie has quite the laugh doesn’t she? #grahamnortonshow,” a third noted.

A fourth said: “@lovegwendoline has a laugh I need to hear more often. She’s fabulous. Absolutely loving her on @TheGNShow tonight.”

“@lovegwendoline’s laugh lifts me up to new levels of happiness,” a fifth shared.

While a sixth opined: “I love Gwendoline Christie. She’s on Graham Norton and her laugh is fantastic too.”

Gwendoline’s laugh was demonstrated when Jack asked the statuesque beauty if she had ever had a “weird crush”.

Although she was coy at first, Gwendoline admitted: “I might have had a weird crush…Basil Brush.”

She soon burst into peals of laughter as did the audience while Jack commented: “Not what I was expecting.”

“It’s true,” she added. “Huge tail. Strong teeth.”

“That’s what I look for,” Gwendoline continued as she giggled again.

Graham wasn’t able to host his programme this week as he is occupied with commentating duties for the Eurovision Song Contest.

“I’m thrilled to know that I am leaving the show in Jack’s capable hands. He is bound to do an amazing job.” he said.

“I should warn him not to get too comfortable in my chair though, because like a slightly fey Terminator, I’ll be back.”

Meanwhile, Jack said it was an “honour” to step into Graham’s shoes.

The Graham Norton Show is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
