Mate 20 Pro prices slashed AGAIN but something even better may soon arrive from Huawei

Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro was one of the biggest hits of 2018 and it has every right to brag about its success.

This flagship phone includes some mighty features such as a 6.39-inch screen, huge 4,200mAh battery and a brilliant triple rear camera that can zoom, take wide-angle shots and produce clear images in almost total darkness without a flash.

Along with a fast Kirin 980 processor, one final extra that has been packed into the Mate 20 Pro is the ability to boost other devices via something called reverse wireless charging.

These are all great extras and a new price cut has made this phone even more desirable.

The Mate 20 had already been reduced to £730 by some retailers but things have not got even cheaper with Debenhams selling Huawei’s flagship for just £659 – that’s a saving of over £200 off their original price.

That all sounds very tempting but before you splash your hard-earned cash you might want to watch this latest clip from the team at Concept Creator.

The short YouTube video is offering fans a glimpse of what might come next from the Chinese smartphone firm.

Although there’s no confirmation of a new Mate 30 Pro, the clip shows a phone with a stunning edge-to-edge screen which curves around the sides of the device.

There’s also a quadruple rear camera which could offer similar features to the current P30 Pro with 10 times hybrid zoom and hugely improved low light photography its main upgrades.

Along with these changes on the outside, Concepts Creator is suggesting that the Mate 30 Pro will get a Huawei’s latest Kirin 985 HiAl processor which will clearly make it faster than ever.

There’s also the possibility of a 5G ready version launching as well.

If Huawei follows its usual launch cycle you can expect to see this phone unveiled in the autumn with October the most likely month for an official release.

Expect plenty more leaks and rumours in the run-up to the launch but if you can’t wait that long there is something else new from Huawei.

The Mate 20 X 5G is Huawei’s very latest flagship handset, with the firm saying it’s been designed to provide a truly immersive gaming experience with its 7.2 inch OLED screen and turbo 2.0 GPU technology.

The Mate 20 X 5G also features the world’s first liquid multi-dimensional cooling system and an ultra-long lasting 4200mAh battery, that can charge 70% in 30 minutes, alongside Huawei’s AI-powered Triple Camera.

For customers wanting to find out more about the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G on EE, they can register their interest at ee.co.uk/5g where further information on pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.

EE will also be bringing the previously unveiled Huawei 5G CPE Pro 5G home router and the Huawei Mate X 5G folding smartphone to the UK.
