Lady Gabriella Windsor wedding: Princess Michael of Kent wears lilac to Royal Wedding 2019

The Royal Wedding 2019 will see Lady Gabriella Windsor, 38, marry her beau Thomas Kingston today. As guests gathered at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, many were eager to see what members of the bridal party would be wearing. Princess Michael of Kent, 74, who is the mother of the bride, opted for a lilac ensemble. She could be seen making her way into the church with her son Lord Frederick Windsor, while the bride is expected to arrive with her father, Prince Michael of Kent, 76.

Princess Michael, who was born Marie Christine Anna Agnes Hedwig Ida von Reibnitz, wore a lilac dress which featured pleats and was cut to her knees.

She also wore a similar-toned floral coat.

The royal accessorised the look with cream gloves, beige high heels, and a quilted cream bag.

She also wore a pale-toned hat, and lilac drop earrings.

The Princess is a not a working royal, but rather, an established author.

Having formerly been an interior designer, she has gone on to write several books on European royalty.

The royal also undertakes lecture tours – as well as supporting her husband in his public duties.

Prince Michael of Kent in currently the 48th in the line of succession to the British throne.

The couple have two children: Lord Frederick and Lady Gabriella, as well as being grandparents of two.

Their son and his wife, actor Sophie Winkleman, have two children together: Maud and Isabella Windsor.

This makes Lady Gabriella 52nd in the line of succession to the British throne.
