Emilia Clarke: Game of Thrones' Daenerys reunites with co-star Rose Leslie ahead of final

Emilia Clarke, 32, was reunited with her Game of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie at a charity event last night.

The English actress, who is best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in the smash hit HBO series, looked impeccably dressed for the London event.

The film and TV star is currently on our television screens in the eighth and final series of the show that made her famous, with fans on tenterhooks to find out the fate of her character – the Mother of Dragons – in the final episode which airs in the early hours of Monday morning.

Emilia opted for a sophisticated black velvet dress for her appearance at the charity quiz which raised vital funds for Multiple Sclerosis research on Thursday night.

The brunette star, who we are more used to seeing with silver hair in Game of Thrones, wore a stylish white suit jacket over the top of her strapless figure-hugging gown.

Emilia finished off her look with a pair of pearl adorned high heels and a studded purse.

She enhanced her natural beauty with a flick of black eyeliner and added a pop of colour with a slick of red lipstick.

The Emmy-nominated star was joined at the SMS Battles Quiz for The MS Society by her former GoT co-star Rose Leslie, who played wildling Ygritte until her character’s death in season four.

The 32-year-old Scottish actress met and fell in love with her on-screen lover Kit Harringtonwhile filming the epic show.

Last year, she married the English actor, who plays Jon Snow in the epic fantasy which concludes this week.

Rose, who is also known for playing housemaid Gwen Dawson in ITV period drama Downton Abbey, wore a beautiful mint green number for the occasion.

Her three-quarter length dress featured a sheer shirt-like layer, which nipped in at the waist, and was teamed with sparkly pumps.

The duo were joined at the event by former Downton Abbey stars Sophie McShera (who played kitchen maid Daisy Robinson) and Phyllis Logan (head housekeeper Mrs Hughes).
