Charley Webb: ‘Love that name’ Emmerdale’s Debbie Dingle may copy Cheryl – here’s how

Charley Webb, 31, is expecting her third child with husband and Emmerdale co-star, Matthew Wolfenden, 38.

The couple are already parents to nine-year-old Buster and three-year-old Bowie.

And despite the current “B” name theme, Charley admitted she won’t be going down the same path this time round.

Speaking about baby names, Charley told OK! Magazine: “It definitely won’t begin with B!

“It was just a coincidence that we liked two names beginning with B, it wasn’t purposely done.”

Charley revealed her eldest son is a fan of the name Bear, which is Cheryl and Liam Payne’s child’s name.

“Buster really wants to call it Bear if it’s a boy,” she divulged. “I do love that name but I’m not having a B.”

Charley continued: “We avoid telling anyone our name choices in advance as we wouldn’t have need our kids their names if we’d run them past anyone!

“Everyone has an opinion and, as we both like unusual names, people would comment.

“At least once you’ve named your baby, they have to pretend to like it!”

Charley’s husband, Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe in ITV’s Emmerdale, said they had a couple of names in mind.

He divulged: “With the other two we used to sit at night and look at baby names on our phones but we haven’t done that this time.

“I do have a couple of names I really love.”

The couple, who got married last year, first revealed they were expecting a new arrival in a sweet Instagram picture, posted back in February.

Charley shared a sweet image of her family to her 262,000 followers, which showed her eldest child Buster holding up a sign which read: “Buster, Bowie and…”

The Emmerdale favourites tied the knot in a surprise wedding ceremony in February last year.

The couple’s family and friends were under the impression they were celebrating Charley’s 30th birthday on the night, until they revealed they were actually getting married.

Speaking to OK! Magazine about her big day, Charley said: “That moment when we announced what we were doing and seeing everybody’s reaction is the best moment of my life”.

“This way we got to do it totally the way we wanted – it wasn’t traditional, we didn’t have a sit-down meal and there weren’t loads of speeches.

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
