Shocking images and drone footage have shown the inside of the devastated warehouse. The plane reportedly crashed shortly after taking off from March Air Reserve Base. The pilot ejected to safety but his condition is unknown.
Images show a huge hole has been punched through the roof of a commercial building.
The plane can be seen against piles of boxes and broken materials.
Black smoke is also billowing from the plane while the site appears to be covered in water.
A fire had been sparked from the crash but has since been distinguished.

There are no reports of injuries from inside the warehouse.
Hazmat teams were reportedly been sent to the area to contain the weaponry onboard the aircraft.
Deputy Fire Chief Timothy Holliday told NBC LA: “It went into a building, there was a fire.
“I don’t know if that has been extinguished yet or not.
“The pilot ejected on base so he was not in the aircraft.
“He has been transported but I don’t know the status of his injuries or what his condition is.”
The weapons have been “controlled” according to Mr Holliday.
There is currently a 2,000 ft perimeter in place as the public have been told to avoid the area.
