OnePlus 7 Pro UPDATE: This is one of the FIRST things Android fans should do

OnePlus has lifted the lid on their new flagship this week – the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Yesterday the Chinese smartphone firm unveiled the OnePlus 7 Pro at three simultaneous launch events in London, New York and Bangalore.

The OnePlus 7 Pro boasts a triple rear camera, an all-screen display and a pop-up selfie snapper.

It will be priced at £649 in the UK, and the release date for the OnePlus 7 Pro is just around the corner.

The OnePlus 7 Pro has a UK release date of Tuesday May 21, with sales on the OnePlus website beginning at 10am BST that day.

And ahead of the new flagship’s release date fans have been alerted to a great new app that could enhance their OnePlus 7 Pro experience.

Hampus Olsson is the man behind the striking default wallpapers found on OnePlus devices.

As per usual the artist has posted a blog post showcasing some of the pre-installed backgrounds coming with the OnePlus 7 Pro.

But Olsson has also revealed that OnePlus fans can download from the Google Play Store an app that has hundreds of his wallpapers in 4K.

The app is free to download from the Google Play Store with wallpapers separated into different categories to help you find what you’re looking for.

Some designs are behind an in-app paywall.

The free Abstruct app offers wallpaper designs that any Android fan can use on their phone.

In a post online, Olsson said: “Today is the day my wallpaper app Abstruct gets released in the wild, for everyone with an Android phone!

“I’ve been working on this app for a couple of years, so this is a big day for me.

“It’s a collection of all the wallpapers I’ve made in the last couple of years.

“I can’t believe it’s actually more than 300 wallpapers, but it’s true.

“So, there is a lot of new wallpapers I haven’t shown anyone before.

“Some of the wallpapers were unused wallpapers for OnePlus, and some were personal works which never saw the light of day, until now!

“I really hope you like Abstruct. If you like what you see, please share it with your friends and family.”
