Ryvita cereal is being recalled after fear that stray nuts have made it into the product.
The Food Standards Agency posted the allergy alert on their website.
It read; “The Jordans & Ryvita Company is recalling Dorset Cereals Simply Oat Granola because it contains almonds, cashew nuts and hazelnuts which are not mentioned on the label.
“This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.”
The product in question is the Dorset Cereals Simply Oat Granola in the 550g pack size.
Look out for products with batch code 24 02 2020 GCP9116 and the best before date 24 February 2020.
The Jordans & Ryvita Company is recalling the product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
The FSA site added: “The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
“These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the product.”
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to nuts, do not eat it.
You can take the product back to the store you bought it from for a full refund.

Symptoms of an allergic reaction include sneezing and an itchy, runny or blocked nose, itchy, red, watering eyes and wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath and a cough.

Signs include swelling of the throat and mouth, difficulty breathing, blue skin or lips and collapsing and losing consciousness.
The Food Standards Agency put out a health warning after bits of rubber were found in food.
The rubber has been found in a Cow & Gate product and could cause serious risk to the health of anyone who consumes this.
Those who have the product are being told not to give it to children and to return it to the store bought immediately.
