James Bond 25: ‘Daniel Craig may still do ANOTHER 007 movie’ confirms Naomie Harris

Back in August 2017, the 51-year-old incumbent James Bond announced he would return for a fifth and final 007 movie. However, it looks like Bond 25 might not be Craig’s last outing as the MI6 agent after all. The news comes from Moneypenny star Harris, who revealed the actor is open to a sixth film. Speaking with The Independent, she said: “Daniel has never said that [Bond 25 is his last film], so we don’t know.”

Harris continued: “It’s still open – who knows?

“Genuinely I think he doesn’t know. Nobody does.

“It depends on this film and if people turn out and are like, ‘We want Daniel’ – which I think they will – then he may well be back for another one.”

Despite these comments, Harris isn’t entirely correct in stating Craig said Bond 25 is his last film.

During interviews at the Bond 25 reveal in Jamaica, Craig was coy in saying, “maybe”, but then quietly added, “yeah, no it is.”

While telling another outlet: “Yes, it’s my last one. Apparently, it is.”

Some fans thought the star seemed a bit grumpy at the reveal, with speculation arising that he may be concerned about getting his final Bond movie right.

After all, originally Danny Boyle was signed on to direct, with a script from Trainspotting’s John Hodge. But after their departure from the project allegedly over them wanting to kill off Craig’s Bond, the current version of Bond 25’s script has been through some major rewrites from multiple authors.
