Avengers Endgame full movie leak: Has Avengers Endgame been LEAKED online?

Avengers: Endgame is the hotly anticipated sequel to Avengers: Infinity War and second-last film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3. The film has raked in more than $2.5billion (£1.94 billion) worldwide since it’s release just over three weeks ago. Fans have taken to social media to praise the film, and are awaiting the release of Spiderman: Far From Home, which will bring the MCU Phase 3 to an end.

Has Avengers Endgame been LEAKED online?

As the hype around the film grew before its release on April 26, fans took to Reddit and Twitter to share their theories on what would happen next for our favourite superheroes.

However, one leak which appeared to be recorded in a Chinese cinema has found its way online.

The 1.2 gigabyte torrent of Avengers: Endgame has been shared across peer-to-peer piracy networks, according to TorrentFreak.

The illegally recorded film has since been uploaded onto English speaking torrent websites.

According to TorrentFreak, the film is poor quality, partially rotated and is peppered with watermarks for a gambling site.

Audio for the stream, which is illegal to download and watch, is also described as “poor”.

TorrentFreak has also detailed that a second, better quality copy of Endgame is circulating, sponsored by Russian betting company 1XBet.

According to TorrentFreak’s report, “It’s semi-rotated and is littered throughout with watermarks for a gambling site that spin around the screen.”

Despite fans flocking to the cinema to catch Avengers: Endgame, many have been trying to stream or download the film for free.

However, this is illegal, and any website purporting to have Endgame, the final instalment in the Marvel series, available to stream is illegal.

Warnings have been issued to those attempting to catch the film for free, with the cybersecurity team at Kaspersky labs warning fans about a new scam that is targeting those attempting to watch without paying.

According to Kaspersky, a website has been tricking filmgoers with the promise of watching Avengers: Endgame online for free.

Once accessed, people are tricked with the crafty scam which seems to play the movie without any issues or need to reveal personal data.

However, soon after the opening titles, a message pops up asking the user to create an account.

The on-screen alert says that signing up for the account is free — except that the user has to provide an e-mail address and create a password.

However, Kaspersky is warning that after clicking ‘Continue’, the user finds out that isn’t enough with the account then needing to be validated.

To validate it, it requires the user’s billing information and credit card details including the CVC code printed on the back of the card.

The website promises the information will be used only to make sure that the user is from a country where the website is “licensed to distribute” the content and it goes on to say the user won’t be charged.

That’s not the truth as the tricksters now have full detail of banking credentials and it appears there is no free movie.

Avengers: Endgame is in cinemas worldwide now.
