Terminator 6 is arriving this year from James Cameron and Deadpool director Tim Miller. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton return in this direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day. In fact, Terminator Dark Fate completely retcons the third, fourth and fifth films to complete Cameron trilogy. And now the first trailer is just around the corner.
Miller tweeted from the Terminator Dark Fate official feed: “I like to spend every Terminator Day in a dark room thinking dark thoughts and our edit bay is the perfect place!
“We’re here putting the finishing touches on our FIRST TRAILER.
“We’re just weeks away from releasing this f***er into the wild & we’re very, very excited.”
By the sounds of it, Terminator fans don’t have a very long wait before being treated to the first look of the new movie.

Meanwhile, Cameron revealed how his ex-wife Hamilton had script concerns.
Cameron told Digital Spy: “You know, I didn’t work that closely with Linda.
“She had some concerns about the script.
“I wound up writing a few pages based on her questions and notes when they were really just getting into the start of principal photography.”
Nevertheless, the filmmaker said Arnie’s response to the story was great.
He added: “Arnold, as always, is a dream to work with. He wanted things explained, like, ‘Why does the character do this? Why does the character do that?’”
“I said, ‘Here’s why. Here’s how it works. There are a couple of funny scenes – this is how you’ve got to play them so that it’s not too much, and not too little’.”
Terminator Dark Fate is released in UK cinemas on October 23, 2019.
