Susan Boyle 2019: BGT star sends fans wild with 'intimate' surprise announcement

Susan Boyle, 58, has kept fans eagerly awaiting her musical comeback and she gave them an exciting update via an Instagram post last week. In view of her 32,600 followers, the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up told her fans: “Pre-order ‘TEN’ for a chance to see Susan sing live at an intimate performance and a meet & greet with the lady herself in London!.” Fans flocked to comment on the news, as one person said: “Pre ordered ‘TEN’ as soon as were able. It would be amazing to see Susan & meet her! I’m a big fan, never seen her live.” Another person gushed: “I MUST MEET YOU.”(sic)

While a third person quizzed: “I pre-ordered when it first came out! Does that automatically enter us in the meet and greet?!”

The Scottish singer recently revealed her new comeback album will be available in stores as the end of May but now fans can get a chance to sit down with the star by pre-ordering her music.

The announcement was confirmed in a Twitter post, which read: “Susan’s album ‘TEN’ will be released THIS month on 31st May! Let the countdown begin…

“Pre-order Susan’s album ‘TEN’ now: http://smarturl.it/SusanBoyleTEN.”

The chart-topper recently revealed she has teamed up with a huge star on a new song, which will be included on her album.

Susan told her fans she has collaborated with Michael Ball on a brand new track.

Alongside a video of her and Michael waving, the upload on her account said: “When Susan and @MichaelBall surprised the @TheRockChoir and announced they would be collaborating on ‘A Million Dreams’.

“What a grand entrance!”

Elsewhere, the singer recently shocked viewers of the US comedy show Brooklyn Nine-Nine when it was revealed one of the character’s was her “cousin”.

The Britain’s Got Talent runner-up was jokingly revealed to be the cousin of one of the characters.

During the latest instalment, Charles Boyle (played by Joe Lo Truglio) was heard saying his “cousin” Susan didn’t know she could sing until she was in her late 40s.

The show confirmed the hilarious reference to the singer on their Twitter with a clip of the scene and said: “Those Boyles always surprise us,” alongside a wink emoji.

She appeared to appreciate their support by retweeting several messages of the scene on her account.

US actor Joe, who was the cousin in question, addressed the mention on Twitter.

He wrote: “And she’s incredible! @SusanBoyle #Brooklyn90.”

Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday on ITV at 8pm.
