The BAFTA TV Awards 2019 saw a whole host of stars posing for pictures on the red carpet tonight. It included an array of well known faces who have been nominated for the awards. Some fashion followers may have spotted some key themes at the annual event tonight. Sheer fabrics proved very popular tonight, with Rochelle Humes, Holly Willoughby, and Susanna Reid all opting to wear the look – but in very different ways.
Rochelle donned a plunging black dress which had long, sheer sleeves.
The garment fell to the floor in the same fabric, and featured a thigh-high split.
Beneath the dress, which had statement ruffles at one side of the neckline, the singer wore a black bodysuit.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Hawkins sported a glittering black dress.
The garment also had a slashed design, and featured a low-cut strapless bodice.
Charlotte’s Good Morning Britain co-star, Susanna Reid, also donned an attention-commanding look.
The 48-year-old wore a black floor-length dress which had a sheer bodice, which featured floral detailing.
The pair could be set to win an award tonight, with Good Morning Britain having landed its first ever TV BAFTA nomination – for the Best News Coverage category.
Maya Jama, 24, also stepped out in a sexy look.
The DJ’s pale-toned gown hugged her figure, before falling to the floor with a slight train.
The strapless number had a sweetheart neckline, and she teamed it with a statement necklace.
