Victoria Beckham makes rare fashion faux pas in eye-popping skintight leggings

Victoria Beckham, 45, made a rare fashion faux pas in New York City today.

The singer-turned-fashion designer, who is known for her impeccable sense of style, stepped out in an unusual ensemble this morning.

Making her way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the Met Gala took place earlier in the week, Victoria made a surprising fashion choice.

The mother-of-four opted for a pair of skintight black leggings and a nude-coloured top for her museum outing.

Turning the streets of Manhattan into her own runway, Victoria was pictured leaving her Upper East Side hotel and walking to a waiting car.

The form-fitting outfit, which would be perfect for a ballet lesson, showcased her gym-honed physique and toned legs.

She teamed the look with a black trench coat which was tied at the waist, her trademark dark sunglasses and peep-toe ankle boots.

Wearing her hair in a chic up do, she carried a black leather bag under her arm and finished off her ensemble with a pair of green earrings.

On Thursday, Victoria, who has spent the week in New York, looked chic and stylish in the city while husband David Beckham, 44, appeared in a London court for driving offences.

The former Spice Girl, who is mum to Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 14, and Harper, seven, looked more like her usual self in a red and white checked shirt with a high-waisted grey and black midi-length skirt which she teamed with a vibrant pair of bright red peep-toe boots.
