Mick Jagger: Rolling Stones star in good spirits with daughter amid health update

Mick Jagger, 75, enjoyed a relaxing day with his daughters Jade and Georgia May Jagger yesterday following a recent health scare.

The Rolling Stones front man looked in good spirits as he posed in the sunshine with his purple-haired daughter Georgia May, 27, in a picture which was posted on social media.

Jewellery designer Jade, 47, shared the snap with her 57.7 Instagram followers showing her father and sister in a luscious green garden.

She wrote alongside the image: “Friday is family day #lunchtime with sister and dada @georgiamayjagger and @mickjagger in the sunshine loving the aubergine locks @bleachlondon and breakfast soup and the picnic bag @miumiu.”

Mick reportedly underwent heart surgery last month after cancelling the band’s US and Canada tour due to his ill health.

It’s now been reported Mick has been cleared to tour again, according to The Sun.

A source told the publication: “Mick is delighted to be back to full health and feels 100 per cent after his op. He is his normal chipper and positive self.

“Doctors are really pleased with his progress and were happy to give him a clean bill of health.

“His healthy eating has really helped with his recovery and he’s been taking it easy and resting, as well as enjoying down time with his friends and family. The health scare has just reminded him to keep taking good care of himself.”

At the start of April, the singer took to his own social media account to thank his fans following a stay in hospital.

He penned a heartfelt tweet for his 2.17 million Twitter followers which read: “Thank you everyone for all your messages of support, I’m feeling much better now and on the mend – and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job.”

Back in March it was announced that the Rolling Stones tour of America and Canada would have to be postponed until further notice.

The statement read: “Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”
