Gemma Atkinson, 34, shared a snap of herself from a photoshoot where she had only just found out she was pregnant.
The former Strictly Come Dancing 2017 contestant revealed she and her professional dancer boyfriend, Gorka Marquez, were the only two who knew about it at the time.
Alongside a snap of herself posing in Nike workout gear, Gemma wrote: “I was pregnant on this shoot, but only me & Gorks knew.”
Reflecting on the early days of her pregnancy, Gemma opened up on having morning sickness and a weak bladder.
“I think at the time the lovely stylist thought I had a bladder problem because I kept having to run to the loo and try not to throw up,” she said. “Especially when the Yo Sushi arrived.”
The fitness star admitted she’s excited to feature in photoshoots again after giving birth.
She added: “Looking forward to shooting more fitness shoots again post baby with a whole new level of appreciation for my body and what it’s capable of.”
Gemma’s snap received attention from her beau, Gorka, who posted a series of heart emojis to her snap.
Many of her one million followers praised her for being open about her pregnancy.
One person said: “Really happy for you and gorks, you both seem so genuinely lovely. You also spread a lot of joy on here (with the help of Ollie and norm) helps me smile a lot particularly on my down days! All the best for when baby is here and yours and gork’s future together.”
Another gushed: “You are totally awesome xx.”
A third said: “Preggers or not still stunning xx.”
Yesterday, Gemma uploaded a picture sent to her by Gorka of a spider in the bath, which he said: “Look,” and added two scared emojis.
“Don’t f***in kill it!”(sic) Gemma replied.
“You need to take him out. He’ll be stuck bless him.”
“I didn’t kill it baby. No way,” he assured her.
Showing the messages to her fans, Gemma saw the humorous side to her protectiveness, writing in the caption: “Pregnancy hormones as an animal lover.
“He’s scared of spiders,” she explained. “I must have put around 12 outside since we moved in together while he watches from a distance.
“I actually think they are very cute.”
