Reddit is down tonight, with the front page of the internet undergoing maintenance.
That’s according to the Reddit Status page, which reads: “Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.”
However, no further information on how long this maintenance period could last has been provided.
Users started reporting issues within the last hour, with all the main pages said to be offline.
The good news is that official maintenance isn’t expected to last a long time and should make it easier for servers to return to normal after it’s completed.
“I’m trying to read this Reddit page I go to that shows some fixes for various Skyrim SE crashes but I can’t because of this. Crashing every time I try to load a save.”
According to the official Reddit Status page, all major platforms, including desktop and Mobile, are offline.
It also confirms that the underlying servers that support Reddit are online and are not currently suffering an outage.
If maintenance continues for a long period we may hear more from the Reddit support team on when core service will be back online
