Fortnite Season 9 LEAK: New skins revealed before big Battle Pass update

A new Fortnite Season 9 leak has appeared online and appears to give fans their first look at the new Battle Pass and skins.

While most of this information is just a few hours away from being shared by Epic Games, it appears a new leak has arrived online early.

It’s unclear if this new Fortnite Season 9 leak is real and we won’t know until around 9am, BST, for sure.

It certainly looks like it could be genuine, offering a first look at the new Fortnite skins coming to the game.

From the information posted online, two of the new Fortnite skins are named as the Rox and Sentinel skins, with a progressive skin confirmed as being included.

But fans are not so sure and won’t be convinced until they have the full details from Epic Games later today.

One user comments: “Yeah, but the bearded guy doesn’t look like something Epic would create. It looks like a photoshopped default. Epic has never made a skin like that.”

While another adds: “Every skin in the Fort Knights Battle Pass was just a retextured default with a different head, while Giddy-Up is just a default with an inflatable llama.”

It’s likely that if this does prove to be real, some of these new skins will be part of the new Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass.

Fans can expect at least one to have a progressive design, which will be revealed by Epic Games later today.

As mentioned above, most of the big news and trailers will be shared when Fortnite servers go offline for server maintenance.

This will begin Fortnite Season 9, bringing new map changes, skins and a Battle Pass to the game.

Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite downtime for Season 9 will begin at 9am, BST, on May 9.

Fans can expect patch notes to be shared by Epic around the same time, along with new trailers.

The development team haven’t provided an exact time for when they will be dropping the trailer, so this prediction is based on what has happened during past events.

Several teaser images have been shared by Epic Games over the past few days, detailing a futuristic theme for Season 9.

The word “NEO” has also been shared, suggesting that there will be some sparkly new buildings and locations appearing on the map.

For better or worse, there have been no major Fortnite leaks this week regarding what will be included in Season 9.

But if this new image is revealed to be the genuine article, fans know something new about the big Season 9 launch much earlier than planned.
