Arsenal super fan Piers Morgan TROLLS Tottenham with brutal Liverpool put-down

Spurs booked their place in the competition’s final thanks to a Lucas Moura hat-trick.

The Brazilian netted in injury time to secure a 3-2 win on the night and progress on away goals.

But Morgan was quick to belittle Spurs by praising Liverpool’s comeback against Barcelona as better.

He took to social media and tweeted: “FINAL THOUGHT: Spurs didn’t even achieve the best Champions League comeback in the past 24 hours.”

Liverpool lost the first leg of their Champions League semi-final to Barcelona 3-0.

But on a remarkable night at Anfield on Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp’s side demolished the Catalan club 4-0 to progress to the final.

The Reds will not take on Tottenham on Saturday, June 1 in Madrid.

The reality of Spurs making it to the showpiece final hit home with Morgan this morning.

He tweeted: “Sh*t. It wasn’t just a nightmare.”

Spurs had it all to do as they went in 2-0 down to Ajax at half-time in Amsterdam last night.

But a scintillating second half hat-trick from Moura sent Tottenham through to the final.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has refused to be drawn on his future following the Champions League showpiece event though.

When asked if he would be at Tottenham next season last night he gave a sarcastic response.

“Yes I am going to leave or if I lose maybe too,” he said.

Tottenham end their Premier League season at home to Everton on Sunday (3pm).

Spurs would have to lose heavily to have any likelihood of finishing outside of the top four because of their superior goal difference over Arsenal.
