Chelsea fans WORRY as Blues make statement – ‘Eden Hazard really is gone now’

There has been plenty of speculation over Eden Hazard’s future with Real Madrid strongly linked with a move for the Belgian.

The attacker has said he will refrain from making any decisions until the end of the season, but that’s not the case for his brother.

Younger brother of Eden, Kylian Hazard joined the Blues in 2017 though never made a senior appearance.

He has spent this season on loan at Cercle Brugge and Chelsea confirmed in a statement that the 23-year-old will make that move permanent in the summer.

The statement added: “We thank Kylian for his service to the club and wish him the best of luck for the next chapter of his career.”

And with doubts over Eden Hazard’s future, Chelsea supporters raised their concerns after losing the younger sibling.

One worried fan wrote on social media: “Eden really is gone now isn’t he”

Another added: “Okay we let one go, keep the other. Just please!”

While a third commented: “This is just the early sign that there will be no Hazard family in @ChelseaFC next season”

One other Blues supporter posted: “Don’t scare me again”

And a fellow fan wrote: “getting rid of the hazards one by one I see”

While one hopeful Blue added: “Can he be the only Hazard to leave this summer, thank you”

Eden Hazard is out of contract next summer, meaning the Blues could lose their star man on a free transfer next year.

And Glenn Hoddle believes Chelsea would find it impossible to replace Hazard should he leave.

“They will only find out how important Hazard is after he is gone, unfortunately, because he is that good a player,” Hoddle said.

“What he does brilliantly is you can give him the ball and he will draw three players over to him and he can get you up the pitch.

“But he has goals in him and has got end product in there and around the penalty area. He is a danger.”
