This is our Garmin Forerunner 245 review and initial overview where we discuss what you can expect from Garmin’s middle tier running watch with music. The Forerunner 245 Music is like the Forerunner 645 in that it’s comfortable, sleek, lightweight, and is designed for running, however, the price point isn’t crazy. In this video we touch on GPS, battery life, the heart rate sensor, Spotify, Deezer, and much more. Remember, while this is a mid-tier sport watch, it does have advanced metrics such as running dynamics, cadence, ground contact time, and more (if you pair it with a compatible sensor). Additionally, it has training metrics such as training effect, training load, recovery time, VO2 Max, Pulse Ox blood oxygen sensor, and more. According to Jeff, this is the best GPS running watch on the market right now, all things considered. We wouldn’t be surprised if it made our best sport watch video or best Garmin Forerunner watch video.
