Lorraine Kelly: ‘Love him!’ ITV presenter gushes over ‘strong’ guest after on-air moment

Lorraine Kelly, 59, could not help but take to Instagram to gush over her guest who hoisted her over his shoulder and carried her off the set. The ITV presenter was joined by SAS: Who Dares Win’s host, Ollie Ollerton, 48, who is best known for presenting the tough military survival series. Taking to Instagram, the Scottish presenter uploaded a hilarious video of the ex-Special Forces soldier carrying her over his shoulder and Lorraine couldn’t stop screaming. In view of her 269,000 followers, she wrote: “So this happened! I’m like a bag of washing – talk about STRONG! Love him. #Repost @lorraine with @get_repost @lorrainekellysmith got a bit carried away with the excitement of having @ollie.ollerton on the show this morning #Lorraine #SASWhoDaresWins #WhoDaresWins.”

In the funny clip, Lorraine can be heard giving Ollie the go ahead to lift her up.

She said: “Go for it,” as he wrapped her arms around his neck and lifted her up before she let out a loud scream.

As he walked towards the exit of the studio, she screamed: “Oh my God,” before he gave her a little spin around.

The post gained over 63,000 likes, as fans certainly appeared tickled by the cheeky video.

One person said: “Oh Lorraine that’s hysterical! Must say I can’t blame you a lovely strong man! Irresistable! It could have been a disaster.”

Another person commented: “Oh Lorraine. You get all the best jobs.”

While a third person quipped: “Just as well you were wearing that jumpsuit!”

Ollie appeared on the programme to discuss the latest offering of SAS: Who Dares Wins and also spoke about the difficult transition to adjusting back to normal life after serving in the military.

He said: “I absolutely underestimated that.

“When you’re behind the wall in the military and Special Forces, you think you’re invincible, you think you’re going to rule the world when you come into Civvy Street.”

He continued: “It’s not the same for everyone, but for me, I struggled for 10 years, I sort of bounced around the world trying to find my purpose and it wasn’t out there.

“I had to look within to find it.”

Meanwhile, the ITV favourite recently spilled on one of the worst interviews she has ever conducted, having spoken to various celebrities in the world of showbiz and entertainment.

The Scottish native spilled all in a candid interview with Radio Times, saying the star in question, was actor Ralph Fiennes, 56.

She said: “Once Ralph Fiennes was on to talk about his movie, but he was literally in the foetal position, rocking backwards and forwards.

“I said, ‘You’re hating this, aren’t you?’ We had a really interesting conversation about how he loves his job but hates doing press.”

She added: “I can’t believe how intimidated A-list actors get when they can’t hide behind a character.”

Lorraine airs today on ITV at 8.30am.
