Boxing news: Dillian Whyte has THEORY on how long Jarrell Miller has been doping for

Miller was scheduled to fight Anthony Joshua on June 1 in New York before the American was pulled from the bout after failing three separate drug tests.

Substances GW1516, HGH and EPO were found in Miller’s bloodstream in the lead-up to the much anticipated bout.

Miller was subsequently denied his boxing licence by the New York State Athletic commission.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn was then left in a scramble to search for a new opponent before settling on Mexican-born American Andy Ruiz Jr.

And Whyte, who fought Joshua himself back in 2015, believes there are signs of doping in Miller’s body transformation over the last few years.

“I’ve been saying for a long time that Miller has been doping,” he said.

“If you look at the way Miller’s changed in the last two years.

“And the weight that he’s gained, when you’re big guys, when you gain weight you gain body fat.

“Miller used to have saggy fat, loose skin. Look at Miller two years ago to now, he changed, he got fitter, he got stronger and he got bigger.”

When asked what needs to happen to Miller now that he’s been caught, Whyte joked that the 30-year-old needed to lay off the Mexican food.

When Canelo Alvarez was banned for doping offences in 2018, the Middleweight champ told critics that he ate tainted meat while in Mexico.

“[Miller] needs to stop eating the Cheeseburgers,” Whyte added.

“He keeps buying Mexican, he needs to buy British food.

“He’s disgusting, the man swore on his kid’s lives that he’s never taken no drugs. It’s crazy.”

Whyte’s next bout comes against Colombian Oscar Rivas at the O2 Arena on July 20.
