The Division 2 update patch notes and downtime server maintenance schedule for May 2

The Division 2 is getting a big update on May 2, but only after three hours of server downtime.

The Division will be taken offline for server maintenance at 8.30am BST in the UK.

According to the server downtime schedule, the game will be back online at 11.30am BST.

The Division 2 server maintenance often finishes early, however, so hopefully it will be playable before then.

The news was announced by Ubisoft in Twitter, alongside a link to the update patch notes.

“The servers will shut down for a scheduled maintenance Thursday, May 2nd at 09:30 AM CEST / 03:30 AM EDT / 00:30 AM PDT,” reads an Ubisoft post. “Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.”

The patch notes suggest that the new Division 2 update is one of the smaller ones to release so far.

The last big update introduced the new Tidal Basin content to The Division 2.

The Tidal Basin update added the Heroic difficulty level, which provides more of a challenge.

There’s also the Ongoing Directive, True Patriot, and Hard Wired gear sets, as well as a new WTS world tier and a 500 score cap.

That’s on top of Weekly Invaded Missions and perhaps most exciting of all, the Tidal Basin faction stronghold.

“Upon logging into D.C., you will be met with a brief radio call informing you of developments nearby that require your attention,” Ubisoft explains. “Completing this new side mission unlocks the Tidal Basin Stronghold.”

As Ubisoft points out, the content will only be available with a 425 gear score at World Tier 4.
