Torrey Craig injury: Blood GUSHING from Nuggets star after breaking nose

Craig went up for to contest what seemed to be a routine rebound with Portland’s Zach Collins.

The Denver star was beaten to the rebound, and took a bit of contact forcing him to fall to the ground.

But as Craig crashed to the floor, he didn’t realise Morris’ leg was there and caught his face plush.

The 28-year-old lay stricken on the floor as he clutched his face in agony.

The Nuggets took a quick timeout but there was a pool of blood quickly growing around Craig as he received treatment.

Craig had to be helped off the floor and into the locker room, holding a blood-soaked towel over his nose.

NBA reporter Dennis Scott provided an update on Craig’s condition following the timeout, stating he suffered a broken nose and would not be returning to the game.

“It’s pretty clear to say it’s a broken nose,” Scott said on NBA on TNT.

“He will not return tonight.

“He is going for more x-rays to figure out to see if there’s other bones broken in the face.”

Contrary to what Scott said, Craig did return later in the game wearing a mask to protect his injury.
