The First Lady of the United States welcomed children of Secret Service agents to visit the Presidential home. They enjoyed playing on the newly-renovated bowling alley, which had work completed on it. Despite some goodwill from social media users, who praised Mrs Trump, some questioned why taxpayer money was used to refurbish the games arena.
One wrote: “Is this for real?
“American hard-working folks’ tax dollars went to renovate a bowling alley for the White House.
“I’m sure it could have been better spent on educational materials for the deplorable DC inner city schools.”
Another added: “And how much did that cost taxpayers?”

Mrs Trump gave the children who visited the White House Be Best jumpers, which match her campaign to focus on wellbeing for youth and advocating against cyberbullying.
Sharing the images on Twitter, she wrote: “Wonderful to host children of our @SecretService agents today in the newly renovated bowling alley in the residence of the White House!
“My family appreciates all that Secret Service does to keep us safe. Thank you! #BeBest.”
The post comes just days after she turned 49 years old.
Twitter users praised Donald Trump’s wife after showing off her fun-filled day.
One said: “What a wonderful way to recognise these dedicated individuals and their families.”
While another added: “Best First Lady ever!”
A third person said: “They are our heroes. Thank you for putting them and their families in the spotlight!”
