Yeti PROOF? Indian army finds mysterious footprints in snow of the Himalayas – shock claim

“YETI” footprints have been pictured in the snow of the Himalayas by a mountaineering expedition team in the Indian Army. The team released pictures on Twitter of giant footprints in the snow. They claimed the 32×15 inches markings were from a Yeti.

The shocking photographs show clearly visible footprints but of only one foot.

The army wrote on Twitter: “For the first time, an Indian Army Mountaineering Expedition Team has sighted Mysterious Footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ measuring 32×15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019.

“This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past.”

The pictures show a mysterious trail of footprints trailing into the distance.

Up to seven footprints are seen in the snow.

A senior Indian Army official told the Deccan Herald: “We got the inputs about 10 days back and yet we held on to it.

“But then we decided that there is photographic evidence which matches with earlier theories.

“We tweeted as we thought it would be prudent to excite scientific temper and rekindle the interest.

“Some of us who reject the story surely shall have a definite answer to the evidence. As they say, nature, history and science never write their final story.”

British explorer Eric Shipton also photographed a Yeti “footprint” in the Himalayas.

In 1951, Mr Shipton took a picture of the alleged footprint with his ice ace next to it for scale.

In folklore, the Yeti, Bigfoot or Abominable Snowman is a huge creature which lives in the Himalayas, Siberia, Central and East Asia.

The scientific community have regarded the existence of a Yeti as a legend given the lack of evidence.
