Star Wars 9 ‘leaks’: DEVASTATING Luke Skywalker scene in Rise of Skywalker? Rey ‘scared’

Speculation is popping up left, right and centre ahead of the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in December.

Of course it’s best to treat everything as pure speculation for the time being, especially a the sources of many of these so-called “leaks” are completely unknown.

But as fans continue to enjoy the different possible routes the storylines could take, the speculation is all part of the fun and guess-work for the time being.

This latest claim is that Luke Skywalker’s Force Ghost will share a particularly horrifying vision with Rey.

It comes from popular Star Wars YouTuber Mike Zeroh, who posts frequent videos with unknown sources.

His strike rate in terms of what turns out to be accurate is somewhat hit-and-miss, but this latest possibility would certainly be a memorable hard-hitting moment for fans of Luke.

Zeroh says in a new clip that a sequence has been shot which shows “Mark Hamill in his ceremonial robes in front of a large Jedi temple, that appeared to be the same one used in The Last Jedi.

“It’s described that Mark Hamill was acting on a large set in Cardington, on a field of green grass with a green screen behind him, resting his hand on Rey’s head.”

Zeroh adds: “There’ll be a moment that Luke’s Force Ghost shows her the slaughter of his new generation of Jedi [in flashback].

“Both Mark and Daisy were surrounded by Luke’s Jedi students in the form of a flashback, where Luke is able to take Rey into the flashback with him, and the environment morphs around them.

“Luke tells a deeper story about failure and rising above it, which leads to becoming a resilient Jedi.”

The message it seems he is trying to teach Rey – who is filled with “fear” – is “no matter how hard you fall, there’s always a way to rise above it.”

Again, Zeroh’s sources are completely unknown, but he did reference “concept art designs and set leaks” in his video post.

Star Wars: Episode 9 will be the last hurrah for the Skywalker saga, and presumably the final appearances in the franchise for both Ridley and Hamill.

The recently-released trailer is still sparking speculation, with some arguing that it could give a sign that the likes of Anakin Skywalker could appear too.

What is confirmed is that Palpatine will be significant – although the logistics remain unclear.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is out on December 19.
