NCIS season 16, episode 21 promo: What will happen in Judge, Jury…?

CBS tonight (Tuesday, April 30) will air NCIS season 16, episode 21 tonight at 8pm EST/7pm CST and the network has released a promo to tide fans over until the episode airs. The NCIS season 16 episode 21 promo sees Timothy McGee (played by Sean Murray) visit a tech conspiracy where a conspiracy might be afoot. NCIS fans who watch the episode, which is titled Judge, Jury, will also see Gibbs (Mark Harmon) try to stop a guilty man going free on the CBS and Fox series.

What will happen in NCIS season 16 episode 21?

The official plot synopsis for Judge, Jury… reads: “After entering cold case DNA into the system, Kasie (Diona Reasonover) solves a 30-year-old murder case, but a loophole in the legal system may set the suspect free.

“McGee visits an elite technology company in Silicon Valley that is offering him a highly paid position.”

This is, presumably, the same tech company who was trying to headhunt McGee earlier in the season, but who he turned down.

However, the promo seems to suggest that McGee is there because he’s changed his mind about the job.

WILL ZIVA RETURN IN NCIS SEASON 16?

Instead he seems to be investigating something at the company.

The first scene in the NCIS season 16 episode 21 promo shows McGee is a room of computers, presumably in the tech company.

He says to himself: “Well this isn’t good” while the voiceover says, “A conspiracy gets its day in court.”

The trailer then goes on to show us the central crime of Judge, Jury…

NCIS SEASON 17 RELEASE DATE, CAST, TRAILER, PLOT

Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) says to Gibbs: “How’s a hit connected to a billion dollars of dark money?”

This is presumably what McGee is trying to find out in his tour of the tech company.

The next scene sees Gibbs heading to the Superior Court of Washington, DC.

We hear him say: “A guilty man just walked free,” to which Vance replies, “we’re going to keep digging until we know more.”

WILL DUCKY LEAVE NCIS?

The final scene of the trailer shows Judge Miles Deakin, played by guest star Mike Farrell say: “Agent Gibbs…he doesn’t quit.”

This plot also won’t quit, with the story to continue in next week’s episode of NCIS, titled …and Executioner.

NCIS fans, therefore, can expect a dramatic cliffhanger in tonight’s episode on CBS.

UK fans, however, have a few weeks to wait, with NCIS season 16, episode 21 not airing on Fox until Friday, May 24.
