Kate Garraway: GMB presenter gets VERY candid about sex life 'It only gets better'

The ITV favourite, 51, detailed her hyper-organised schedule which she and her husband use to assign time to make sure they get to be intimate every day. “When you’ve been in a relationship for a long time, the physical side of things can be very unspontaneous,” Kate Garraway told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine. “So, the idea is to schedule sex and force yourself to do it once a day and make it the focus of you diary. We got very organised and we created this space for intimacy,” the Good Morning Britain host explained.

Opening up about her sex life, Kate said the physical side of her relationship with Derek has improved as she’s grown older.

“When you’re younger you want to be impressive, but when you get older, I think there’s a different kind of intimacy,” she told the publication.

“For women, sex only gets better as you get older, I think.”

Asked how easy it is for her to keep the spark alive in her marriage, Kate giggled cheekily.

“You’ve probably not met Derek,” she smiled, adding coyly: “He keeps me on my toes, put it that way.”

Kate and former lobbyist Derek first met in 2004 and tied the knot the following year.

The couple are parents to two children, daughter Darcey and some Billy.

Opening up about becoming a mother later in life, having given birth to their first child, Darcey, at 39, she said: “I always pictured having a family, so I was lucky.

“I had lots of friends who had trouble [conceiving]. It’s such a huge decision to have kids so in hindsight I’m glad that Darcey was a surprise.”

Kate went on to say she would have had more children if she had been younger.

The Good Morning Britain star previously told The Mirror about her flaw which frustrates Derek, admitting to being a chaotic and messy person.

“I can even relax in chaos,” she said. “Only if I’m on my own, so I know I’m not being judged.

“If I knew my husband Derek was going to walk into chaos I couldn’t relax because I’d think, ‘He’s going to be so horrified.’

“But when he is away, it’s such a treat to lie in bed and think, ‘I’m not going to pick up that shirt, I’m going to leave it right there.’

Kate has been a regular on Good Morning Britain since 2014.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
