Susanna Reid SPLIT: Why has Susanna Reid broken up with MILLIONAIRE boyfriend Steve Parish

Susanna Reid has spoken about her split from Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish on Good Morning Britain today, after being quizzed by co-host Piers Morgan. Susanna, 48, told Piers she was “fine” before joking the break up was “all down to him”. But why have James, 53, and Susanna split?

The presenter told her co-star the split was “all down to him” as she spoke about her split from her millionaire boyfriend for the first time.

Susanna and football boss Steve dated for nine months, first being spotted together in August last year.

Susanna’s spokesperson confirmed the split on Sunday but had declined to comment further.

On today’s GMB just after 6am, Piers asked Susanna about her relationship status, saying: “Are you single again? You are aren’t you?”

Susanna replied: “Yep. Let’s not dwell. I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re very good friends. We were at the match on Saturday.”

The pair were spotted sitting next to one another at the Crystal Palace vs Everton match on Saturday, April 27.

Susanna attempted to move the topic of conversation on to Piers, whose team Arsenal lost at the weekend.

She said: “You had an interesting match over the weekend. In fact, you’ve had three.

“I know one of the things you’re most devastated with about my split is the fact you will no longer have access to the wine cellar.”

Piers then asked whether she’d released the news to coincide with his return to GMB today after his three-week Easter break.

Susanna joked the announcement was “all down to you”, before adding: “These things happen.”

Susanna and Steve’s relationship was her first public one since announcing her split from ex Dominic Cotton in 2014.

Dominic and Susanne have three children together; Sam, Jack and Finn Cotton.

The pair started dating in 1998 and despite the split are reportedly close friends.

The presenter told the Sun of her split: “It was absolutely our priority to make sure everything was as good as it can be for the children.

“There was a lot of smiling through. You wouldn’t choose to have that much change in quite so many areas of your life around the same time.”
