Queen Letizia inspired by Meghan Markle as she wears £640 denim dress in Mozambique

Queen Letizia, 46, looked chic in the dark denim CH by Carolina Herrera dress, £640. Belted at the waist, the dress had a fit and flare design which was very flattering on the royal’s shape. She paired this with a small dark blue clutch and suede sling back heels in the same colour. Mum-of-two Letizia kept her legs bare, and didn’t need a jacket or cardigan over the dress.

Her dark locks were worn in a side parting and sat straight down over her shoulders.

She kept her makeup simple, opting for bronze eyeshadow and brown lipstick.

On this occasion, Letizia wore her nails bare – she has been a fan of bright red nail polish in the past.

The dress Letizia chose yesterday is very similar to one worn by Meghan Markle to watch Prince Harry play polo last summer.

Meghan’s dress was also by Carolina Herrera, but it cost £2,357 as it was from the main line, rather than the lower priced diffusion line that Letizia opted for.

Letizia has been a fan of navy dresses recently, wearing a silk printed version last week.

She was spotted wearing a navy floral fit and flare dress as she attended an official lunch at the royal palace in Madrid with her husband, King Felipe VI.

The royal chose to wear the navy dress which was given a pop of colour with the floral design, and was covered with navy flowers with a neon orange and white lining.

The stylish monarch complemented the outfit with a navy clutch bag and matching shoes.

Queen Letizia was seen walking through the royal palace in the dress as she attended the lunch for the Miguel de Cervantes 2019 award.

The dress had a fitted top and three quarter length sleeves.

The royal was nipped in at the waist before the dress revealed a full pleated skirt which cut off just below the knee.

Across the dress was a pattern which featured navy flowers with an orange and white outline which covered every part of the outfit.

In her hand, Letizia held onto a velvet navy clutch bag and wore a pair of matching navy heeled shoes.

The royal kept her hair simple and wore it styled into a sleek straight blow-dry.
