GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8 EPISODE TITLES

In King’s Landing Cersei looks out over her Kingdom with her consort Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek) right by her side as she gazes out of a window from the Red Keep.

We see ships with the Targaryen sigil riding on the ocean, heralding the return of the family to King’s Landing. The next battle is likely to see the Mother of Dragons and her forces taking on the Golden Company.

“We have won the great war, now we will win the last war,” Daenerys Targaryen says to the survivors.

HOW MANY EPISODES ARE IN GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8?

People cheer Daenerys on as the tide turns in her favour and she gains popularity but not everyone is impressed including Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

The promo cuts to a montage of shots including Daenerys stroking one of her dragons, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) appearing worried and Jon possibly rekindling his incestuous relationship.

As the preview trailer comes to a close, Cersei issues a stark warning: “We’ll rip her out root and stem.”

We can expect lots of underhand tactics from Cersei as she plans to win at any cost and most likely Qyburn (Anton Lester) will have something up his sleeve.

Game of Thrones season 8 airs on HBO in the US on Sundays 9pm ET and on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK on Mondays at 2am & 9pm BST
