Horse racing tips TODAY: Horses you MUST back at Doncaster, Sandown, Chepstow

The champion jockey won on Andrew Balding’s three-year-old in a 17-runner maiden at Doncaster on the opening day of the turf season and the form of that race is working out extremely well.

Setting off as the even-money favourite, Bangkok beat 20-1 outsider beat Telecaster by a length and a quarter, the pair finishing nine lengths ahead of the rest.

The runner-up has since won by nine lengths at Windsor and has an entry in the Dante at York. The fourth home, Dubai Instinct, also won on his next outing.

NEW KING (5.05, treble) was involved in the finish last time out when third under a penalty over this mile and a quarter trip at Chelmsford, having won at Wolverhampton in December. This is his first outing in a handicap and on turf for champion trainer John Gosden. He has Oisin Murphy in the saddle, so will be in the ball park.

Over the jumps at Perth ACHILL ROAD BOY (4.15, nb) appeals. Trained by Stuart Coltherd and ridden by his son Sam, the 10-year-old is a consistent performer who hasn’t finished out of the top four all season, winning at Kelso over a similar trip in January by eight lengths. He is upped in class today but has weight on his side.
