Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3: Bronn star hints he will SURVIVE Battle of Winterfell

Game of Thrones is about to air an epic bloodbath this weekend as the Battle of Winterfell takes hold.

The Night King (Vladimir Furdik) has finally arrived at the northern territory and he is out for every human he can get.

Many are expecting to see lots of fan-favourites perish in episode three, but it seems one character has the writers on his side.

Born of the Blackwater star, Jerome Flynn, appeared on Lorraine this morning and teased as much as he could about the series.

Lorraine Kelly wondered how many times he gets asked what happens in Game of Thrones, but the actor giggled how fans really don’t want to know when it comes down to it.

He added: “I’m a fan – I’ve been trying to wipe out what I know is going to happen.”

Jerome continued: “There’s a few of us who’ve made it through.

“I never thought Bronn was going to see eight seasons. It’s his humour that’s saved him!”

Will writers keep such a funny character for the ending or is it his time to go?

Many think he will be about to perish in the coming episodes alongside his long-standing friend and colleague, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

Jaime made his way back to Winterfell in order to join the fight against the White Walkers.

He strayed away from his lover and sister, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and has since accepted he cannot lead an army.

As a result, he can be seen in a new picture from episode three standing alongside his friend, Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie).

They are both at the front of a group of soldiers and it certainly looks like they will be among the first to perish.

But will Bronn be along them as well? He was recently given a treacherous task by evil queen Cersei.

In the opening episode of season eight, the treacherous leader equipped him with a bow and arrow set and told him to assassinate her brothers, Jaime and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).

However, his allegiance to the Lannister boys has so far proven unwavering so would he really kill off his friends?

Elsewhere in episode three, it seems there’s more heartache in store for Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner).

In a new picture from the instalment, she is crying following a tense exchange with her sister.

Does this mean Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) will perish in the final season?

Game of Thrones continues Sunday on HBO in the USA and the following day on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
