OPPO Reno launch LIVE STREAM: How to watch P30 Pro rival announcement from anywhere

OPPO Reno has already been unveiled in the firm’s home territory of China, giving Android fans a good idea of what to expect today.

The Reno comes in three models; the standard Reno, the Reno 10x Zoom Edition and Reno 5G.

The former is set to be the cheapest of the trio but will forgo some premium features in exchange for its more appealing price tag.

OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Edition, as the name suggest, places a heavy emphasis on its camera system that is very similar to the P30 Pro.

This Reno variant comes with a triple-camera system comprised of a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle module and a 13-megapixel periscope zoom lens.

The latter offers a 5-times optical zoom and combines with other sensors on the device to achieve a 10-times hybrid zoom.

Although the Reno 10x Zoom Edition lacks the time-of-flight (TOF) sensor present on the P30 Pro, on paper it appears to be a staunch rival of the Huawei device.

Other notable specifications offered by the hardware include:

• Display – 6.6-inch AMOLED with the resolution of 1080×2340 and the density of 387-pixels-per-inch

• Processor – Snapdragon 855

• Battery capacity – 4,065mAh

• Rear camera – Triple camera system comprised of a 48-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens

The OPPO Reno 5G is essentially the 10x Zoom Edition but is capable of delivering next-generation internet speeds.
