Lucy Verasamy, 38, took to Twitter and wrote in view of her 162,000 followers: “It’s our warmest Easter Monday on record.”
The Good Morning Britain presenter was inundated with comments, as one person quizzed: “Indeed but with Easter dates varying quite dramatically year on year across the months March/April it’s a rather misleading and insignificant ‘record’. Still, at least it’s warm rather than a washout like usual!”
Another replied to the ITV favourite, saying: “Easter is not celebrated on a fixed date.”
Others seemingly appeared happy with the news, with a third person commenting: “Thank you for making this Easter Monday so warm and sunny, Lucy you really are so special and the best weather presenter ever.”
Meanwhile, the weather presenter slipped into a chic ensemble to deliver the latest weather forecast.
Sporting a cream blouse and tanned skirt, the brunette beauty spilled on what the UK will look like for the rest of the week where she admitted temperatures will soon dip.
