What EVERY Chelsea fan going to Stamford Bridge for Burnley game TONIGHT needs to know

Chelsea welcome Burnley to west London this evening having seen the weekend’s fixtures go as well as they could have hoped.

Fellow top-four chasers Tottenham gave them plenty of reason to smile on Saturday as they lost to Manchester City.

Then it was the turns of Manchester United and Arsenal to drop points, with Everton and Crystal Palace beating the duo.

Chelsea will be looking to put on a new show when they face Burnley knowing three points will take them up to third.

Supporters heading to the Premier League match, though, need to know one very important piece of travel information.

Fulham Broadway, the closest London Underground station to Stamford Bridge, is closed due to maintenance work on the District Line.

And that will impact the travel arrangements of thousands of home, as well as away, fans making their way to the game.

Replacement buses are running in the area, however, so supporters will have to work out which route is best for them.

The station will remain closed through the evening, meaning fans need to find a different way of getting home after the match too.

Even for those who do not travel to Chelsea using the Underground, the closure could have knock-on effects with roads in the vicinity of Stamford Bridge busier than usual.

Meanwhile, Kepa Arrizabalaga has branded the encounter with Burnley as a “must-win game” as Chelsea attempt to secure Champions League qualification.

“Obviously it’s a game that’s really important for us,” Kepa said. “We’re getting to the stage now where we have to win these games, it’s a must-win game.

“We had Slavia Prague on Thursday and Burnley is going to be a tough physical game too, and it’s a game we have to give everything to win.

“We know how difficult it’s going to be. We’ve got four games left and we need to win all those games really if we want to be in the Champions League next season.

“We know it’s going to be a great battle, a really tough battle. We’ve got four games left and one of those is at Old Trafford, so it’s going to be tough.

“It’s what we’ve been working for all season, our objective was to qualify for the Champions League.

“We know it’s not going to be easy. We also have another objective, which is the Europa League, so we have another opportunity.”
