Weight loss diet: Reddit user shed an astounding 4st and five dress sizes with this trick

For those who are struggling to lose weight, looking to others who have managed to shape up can be encouraging.   Some slimmers post their weight loss transformations online to show people how far they have come and give their tips.   One woman shared pictures of herself before and losing a staggering 4st 5lb to explain to others how she did this.   What did she do to help her slim down?

Posting before and after photos on Reddit, the user, “missmeleni” revealed she had lost 4st 5lb, doing from 15st 5lb to a much healthier 11st.

In her post, she also said she was 31-years-old and 5ft 4in and had gone from a size 18 to size 8.

“missmeleni” revealed the secret of her success was by watching her calories and exercising regularly.

She said: “I’ve kept my calories around 1300, and I’m now slowly bringing them up as I up my weights in the gym!

“I work out 4 times a week! 25 mins cardio, then 40 or so minutes weight training!”

As well as losing weight, “missmeleni” has been tracking her measurements and had noticed her waist drastically slim down.

She said: “I measure every saturday morning. At the moment my chest is 31in4. My waist is 30in 3 and my hips are 36in3.”

After initially cutting fat, she is now focusing on training with weights at the gym in order to get her strength up.

She said: “Creating a sustainable lifestyle is far more important than pushing for that ‘perfect look’.”

Underneath the post, many other users posted their messages of support for the dieter.

Switching up the diet can help slimmers lose weight and there are also other things they can do in order to beat the bulge.

Drinking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar can help dieters lose 3.7lb in 12-weeks, according to research.

This can be mixed with water, added to hot water and lemon or taken on it’s own.

One celebrity changed her eating habits following a gastric band in order to slim down.

Broadcaster Anne Diamond, 64, lost weight by changing her lifestyle, but admitted her method may not be for everyone.
