Gemma Atkinson, 34, has been documenting her pregnancy journey on Instagram after she made the announcement with her Strictly Come Dancing beau Gorka Marquez in February. In view of her 988,000 followers this morning, the former Emmerdale actress uploaded a clip where she can be heard questioning her beloved dog Ollie on whether he was concerned she may “tear” when giving birth. In the short video, the pooch could be seen sleeping before Gemma proceeded to wake him up. As the Hits Radio DJ gently tapped her dog, she exclaimed: “Ollie, did you know that?”
The cheeky dog seemingly appeared to ignore her, as she continued to plead with him: “Ollie, Ollie,” as she gently tapped him.
“Did you know that I could tear in labour delivering your little sibling?”
It was obvious her pet was not particularly interested as she spilled: “Ollie are you ar**d? Ollie man!
“I might tear, are you not bothered? Are you not ar**d?” before she added: “Cheers for the support.”
The funny video comes after Gemma revealed she had been reading baby books, which had sparked her labour fears.
She added the following caption to her Instagram stories: “Baby books are fine until you read the part where you may tear from your vagina to your bum.”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty recently shared a gorgeous snap of herself as she showcased her growing baby bump.
Gemma smiled as she cradled her impending arrival as she sported a figure-hugging black dress.
She captioned the snap: “Who ate all the eggs?! First Easter where I actually look like an Easter Egg and I bl**dy love it!”
Her social media fans flocked to comment on the post, as one person gushed: “You look amazing, I reckon that’s a baby boy bump.”
Another person commented: “Loving how real you are about the pregnancy looking amazing.”
While a third person added: “You look absolutely stunning.”
The actress announced she was pregnant in an adorable post shared to her Instagram account back in February.
The announcement came a year after she and boyfriend Gorka, who met on Strictly Come Dancing two years ago, confirmed they were in a relationship together.
Since revealing the news, the fitness fanatic has been keeping her fans up to date with her pregnancy progress.
She recently told her fans she is not putting a time limit on when she’ll be heading back to the gym after giving birth.
