Pink Moon horoscope: How will the Full Moon in Libra affect YOU and your astrology?

The Full Moon in Libra today is the fourth Full Moon to grace the skies this year. The Moon rises tonight in the tail-end of Libra as the Sun still clings on to Aries. Sometimes known as the Pink Moon, the theme of tonight’s light show is asking yourself whether your focus is on the right things. And on a global scale, are we prioritising the right issues? Is our attention in the right place?

These themes will be at the forefront of your horoscope predictions for the coming week, according to astrologer Julian Venables of LondonAstrologer.com.

Mr Venables told Express.co.uk the Libra-Aries Full Moon on a personal level falls along the relationship axis.

Here in the UK, particularly when viewed from London, the Full Moon will peak in brightness at 12.12pm BST (11.12pm UTC).

Unfortunately, the lunar orb will not be visible until eight hours later when the Pink Moon peaks over the horizon around 8.05pm BST (7.05pm UTC).

Regardless of that, however, the Moon’s presence is bound to be felt all around you.

Mr Venables said: “Interestingly, the Sun in Aries is opposite the Moon in Libra, so the axis we’re looking at is the relationship axis.

“It’s how people get along with each other and the thing about Aries is Aries will always go ahead and do its own thing. It pushes ahead with its own agenda, whereas Libra needs to keep things in balance.

“So when Aries is very action-oriented, Libra is very relationship oriented. When Aries is being very self-directed, Libra is very much dependant on others.

“It’s that balance between the two – the very great necessity of being the energy of Aries versus the evaluating of Libra.”

With these two zodiacs in play today, there might be a sense of a need to be subjective – Aries – as opposed to being objective – Libra.

Mr Venables said Libra has an innate need to see all of the points of view in conversation and to understand what is facing to make a rational decision.

Aries is much more headstrong and brash, and often charges in before sparing a second thought.

Mr Venables said: “So that’s the difference between the two, so what we’re getting at the moment over the last month with the Sun in Aries, has been ‘what’s new, what’s different, let’s push forward’.

“And so you’ve had different things happening, which have reflected that in various news events.”

Once the Sun and the Moon cross paths, they will move onto the signs of Taurus and Scorpio respectively.

Taurus is the second star sign of the zodiac and is a very grounded earth-sign, which rules Venus.

Scorpio is the eight star sign on the horoscope charts and occupies a position in the constellations Scorpius.

Together, Mr Venables said the two signs are very much focused on resourcefulness and how resources are used.
