Ivanka Trump style: Inside the £3000 wardrobe the former model wore on her African tour

Ivanka Trump is a former model and fashion designer who is currently a senior political advisor for her dad, Donald Trump.  Since 14 April, she has been on a tour around Africa to promote the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) which launched in February.  The initiative aims to train women across the world, in a bid to help them to get well-paying jobs.  She has been spotted wearing some stylish outfits as she attended a number of meetings during this trip, but how much has her tour wardrobe cost?

On the first day of her trip, Ivanka met with the Ethiopian Women in Coffee Association to attend a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony.

She met with the women at Dumoro Coffee shop where she discussed the empowerment of women in the Ethiopian coffee industry.

While she was there, she wore a belted blue shirt dress which featured long sleeves.

The button-up cotton dress was by J. Crew and is on sale for £154, and she paired this with a pair of Rothy’s Maritime Navy pumps on sale for $145, or £111.

On the next of her trip, Ivanka met with women to launch 2X Africa to help close the credit gap for female entrepreneurs on the Continent.

As she met with the women in Ethiopia, she wore a loose red and cream floral shirt dress by designer, Emilia Wickstead, which cost £1,560.

The dress had bell sleeves and a full skirt, and she complemented the look with a pair of white Manolo Blanik BB Pumps, which are on sale for £538.96.

She was spotted leaving Ethiopia to head for her next stop on her African tour to head to Abidjan for more meetings.

Ivanka looked ready for Spring as she travelled in a two-piece yellow suit for Zara, which featured a double-breasted blazer currently on sale for £89.99.

She paired the blazer with matching yellow wide-leg trousers, which are selling for £39.99.

Ivanka travelled with a Indra woven rattan and leather tote bag from Vince Camuto which is now sold-out, but similar ones sell for around £70.

She stunned in a blue shirt dress during a meeting the Vice President of the Republic of Ivory Coast, Daniel Kablan Duncan, to further discuss women’s equality.

The Ralph Lauren dress featured open sleeves and cut off just above the knee.

The dress is no longer available but similar Ralph Lauren dresses cost around £175.

Today, she was spotted in a short-sleeved white shirt dress, which has pushed up the total spend of her trip to around £2,740.

Last week she wore a dress from the Michael Kors Collection, which cost $1,247.50 via the site, which works out at around £954.

She also wore a bargain polka dot Zara midi dress for a meeting at the White House days before this.
