Coronation Street star, Lucy Fallon, 23, took to her Instagram stories to share a snap of the yellow post-it note message which was plastered on her script, which cheekily read: “Please STOP leaving your c**p in my place.” Fortunately the ITV star saw the funny side, as she added a caption to the Instagram photo and wrote in view of 411,000 followers: “Hahahahahahaha @sallyannmatthews…rude”. The actress’ co-star Sally Ann Matthews, 48, who plays Jenny Bradley in the ITV soap, was the culprit who left the message for Lucy but it appears it was all in good humour. The ITV soap star also took the opportunity to repost Lucy’s Instagram message on her own page.
Their cheeky banter seemingly appears to be a recurring theme between the two stars, as Sally recently added a video of Lucy where she said the TV star had been “caught red-handed”.
The short clip showed Lucy sitting on a chair before she looked directly into the camera.
In view of her 57,700 Instagram followers, Sally wrote: “Caught. Red handed. In my spot!!! I see you @lucyfallonx…. x”
The funny jibe resulted in the blonde beauty hitting back, as Lucy wrote: “YOU’VE OFFICIALLY BEEN DEMOTED #bye xxx.”(sic)
Coronation Street actor, Charlie de Melo (Imran Habeeb), also got in on the action and said: “She’s a braver soul than I,” with Sally replying to the message: “@charliedemelo You’re a wise man.”
Pregnant star Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) said: “Doing exactly what you do…. judge and gossip haha,” seemingly referring to Lucy sitting in Sally’s chair.
However, Lucy wasn’t having it as she replied: “@brookelevivincent you better watch your mouth. You will be the talk of that sofa I tell ya.”(sic)
The brunette beauty exclaimed: “@lucyfallonx been there a few times. I’m not ashamed haha.”
But Sally took aim at both of them, adding: “@brooklevivincet Rude. You get on my throne again there’ll be b****dy trouble x”(sic)
Meanwhile, Lucy’s pal Brooke who is also a regular fixture on Coronation Street, recently revealed the heartwarming news she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Sheffield footballer, Kean, 22.
In a recent interview with OK! magazine, the actress said she shared the news with Sally Dynevor, who plays her on-screen mum Sally Metcalfe, when she was just a few weeks along.
And when she told Lucy, Brooke admitted she received an odd response from the actress’ boyfriend Tom Leech.
She said: “Lucy Fallon was so happy.
“I took her into my dressing room and lifted up my top to show off my bump and she was like: ‘Oh my God!’”
Brooke continued: “She immediately texted her boyfriend Tom and said: ‘Brooke just told me some huge news, she’s just taken me in her dressing room and lifted up her top…’
“And he replied asking if I’d had a boob job!”
