UK jihadi bride: Londoner issues mercy plea for daughter and grandchildren – Let them home

Khadijah, 1, Somaiya, 3, Naima, 6, and Isaac, 9, were taken to Syria by their mother Nicole Jack to join the sadistic regime in 2015. The children were taken from their home in west London to follow their father Hussein Ali, a twisted extremist. They now live in a refugee camp in Syria after the caliphate was finally brought to its final ruin.

But now the children’s grandmother, Charleen Jack-Henry, has pleaded with the British government to intervene and let the children return home to the UK, along with their jihadi mother.

The London based nurse said the children should not be made a scapegoat for their parents’ sick beliefs.

Ms Jack-Henry told the Daily Telegraph newspaper her daughter only left the UK with her children because Ali threatened to split up the family if she refused.

One of her children allegedly tore up a family passport in a last-ditch attempt to stop their mother taking them to the jihadi homeland.

However, the jihadi bride replaced the passport and left Britain, travelling with Ali and their children to Cyprus in October 2015.

They then continued into Iraq and eventually Syria.

The grandmother has not heard anything from them since they left and feared they had been killed.

But the Jihadi bride and her three girls are listed as alive, after being captured in Syria following the downfall of Isis’s last bastion.

The grandmother told the Daily Telegraph: “I have been desperate with worry about her and my grandchildren.

“I’m sure she only travelled under duress from her husband because she didn’t want him to split her up from the children.

“I think he must have told her his family would take them if she did not go out there with him.”

Addressing the Home Secretary Sajid Javid, Ms Jack-Henry said: “Please consider these cases on their merits.

“I’m sure my daughter was coerced into going.

“Hussein used the children as leverage to force her to go out there with him.

“He seemed to use the influence of his family here to have a hold on her.

“She would not have left otherwise.

“I’m so worried about them, especially the children.

“This is not like the Shamima Begum case.

“It’s different. I’m sure my daughter didn’t go there wanting to fight, but because she felt she had no choice if she wanted to keep her children.”
