The press tour for Avengers Endgame is underway, with Robert Downey Jr, Brie Larson and Jeremy Renner attending a fan event in Seoul, South Korea in the next few days. According to Cinema Express, an exclusive 20 minutes of footage has been shown at a press event there, giving a further look at the highly anticipated blockbuster. The outlet reports that the footage shown sees the magnitude of Thanos’ decision and the huge odds against the survivors in their fightback spoken of. Not wanting to spoil, they claimed the new scenes tease how Avengers Endgame will be a solemn outing.
They added: “While we don’t want to reveal anything in specific, all we can say is that audiences should be prepared to see a likely very solemn Avengers film — for the most part.
“This isn’t the sort of film that can get going into revenge mode immediately.”
Pinkvilla reported: “It would be incredibly handy to carry along some tissues”, saying the footage caused ‘goosebumps’.
While Times Now said: “Avengers: Endgame is going to be the experience of a lifetime.”
Well directors the Russo Brothers have committed to real stakes in Avengers Endgame.
With the original Avengers having survived and those carrying on the MCU franchise into the future being dusted, could a swap be on the cards?
Whatever happens, the MCU is never going to be the same again.
