TalkTalk has stated it is “aware” of the issues plaguing its service and is working to fix outage “as soon as possible”.
The provider tweeted: “We’re aware of issues with accessing webmail at the moment and are looking into this further.
“We hope to have services back up and running ASAP.”
Independent outage monitor Downdetector has registered over 600 reports at one time from customers insisting TalkTalk’s email service is not working as properly.
In response to the issues, many users commented on the outage monitor’s comments section to express their disappointment at the outage.
One said: “This is ridiculous no emails all morning!”
A second stated: “I have had enough of TalkTalk.
“I can’t understand how this company still has customers, I will definitely be changing my email provider.”
Another customer declared: “Last email received at 8.22am, just after 9am had a message stating unable to sign in.
“Ridiculous service. Will probably change now.”
When logging in to see their emails, many customers are seeing an error message.
It reads: “Login not possible at the moment. Please try again later. (LGI-0005).”
It is currently unknown when TalkTalk’s email service will be back up and running for customers.
